With a firm foundation in my faith, I thank God for having been blessed with a wonderful wife and four incredible children. My wife and I are active members of the community. Whether sitting at a high school sporting event, or spending time on the field officiating a game, we have instilled the value of getting involved in our children because I believe that everyone has something special to offer.

I have called Cherokee County home for a total of 25 years now and have taken great pride in where I live. Because of my love for this county and the district in which I live, I have made the decision to pursue a seat in the Georgia House of Representatives to be the voice for our district at the capital. I promise to bring true and proper Republican values as I have supported them since I started voting at 22 years old. I have proudly served as a Cherokee County GOP delegate since 2016 as a representative of the Republican Party as well as been elected to serve on the GOP 11th District Committee. My experience as a delegate and my position as US Postmaster with the federal government has well prepared me to stand for the needs of the people of House District 20.

Even though I was born in North Carolina, I have lived in the state of Georgia all my life. I grew up in Fannin County, just north of Blue Ridge Georgia, where I attended East Fannin High and graduated with highest honors. I then pursued a collegiate career at Young Harris College until I transferred to the University of Georgia where I completed my schooling.

After college, I found a career with the US Postal Service and became one of the youngest managers in the Atlanta district after only being employed 4 years. From 1993-2016, I was promoted through the ranks until I was able to serve as a US Postmaster. During that time, I was responsible for a large staff to efficiently and economically move and deliver the mail.

After I retired, I realized my experience and ongoing desire to lead could be used to do something special for my community, Cherokee County, and the State of Georgia. My background in the federal government will bring so much to the table at the state level and if elected as your Georgia State Representative, I would be more than proud to represent “You” at the state capital.
